About Personal Combat Institute
The Personal Combat Institute began on March 29, 2003. The director, Woody Wilson, has had nearly 50 years of martial arts experience beginning in 1965. He has studied Japanese Judo, Karate, Jujitsu, Aikido, Chinese Wu Shu and Aido. He has also studied and taught Korean TaeKwon Do, American wrestling, and boxing. Mr. Wilson also served in law enforcement for eleven years and has retired from the U.S. Army with 17 years of service.
Mr. Wilson believes that American adults face constant challenges in life. We work hard to maintain good health, to build successful careers, to be good parents and to make a positive difference in the world through our community involvement. But despite our good intentions, we are living in an uncertain world which poses new threats to each of us daily. Over the centuries, martial studies have been proven to be a powerful tool for adults to gain a strategic edge in life. Not only do you develop formidable violence management skills, but tactical and strategic training also enables you to manage every aspect of your life more positively. Investing yourself in martial training will be one of the wisest choices you will ever make. Do it now and move into the realm of the warrior.
